How long have you been in business?
Our family owned antique business has been serving clients in the NYC and Long Island areas for over 40 years.
What is your primary product or service?
We buy and sell antiques, fine art, collectibles and jewelry. We also refer clients to auctioneers, estate sale experts and appraisers when needed.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Gary Zimmerman has a bachelor of fine arts from Hunter College in Manhattan. He has always been interested in antiques and fine art.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We do our best to make our clients happy. We also provide multiple options to help with the selling process.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Syl-Lee antique has a store in New York City. However, we service all areas of Long Island as well.
Which areas do you service?
We service all areas of New York City and Long Island, including Queens, Nassau and Suffolk county.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Daily operations are run by Marion Rizzo, Gary Zimmerman and Adam Zimmerman
What are your hours of operation?
We make in-home evaluations 7 days a week. Our NYC store is opened on weekends and during the week by appointment.
