The Women's Center Karate Club, founded in 1975 by Susan Ribner and now headed by Denise Williams, 4th degree black belt, is an all female school dedicated to serious karate training in a supportive environment. We are devoted to the empowerment of women and girls of all ages and physical abilities. The karate style practiced at our school is a Japanese style called Shotokan. This rigorous form of karate is quite popular and is practiced the world over.

I discovered the amazing therapeutic value of sports massage. Massage therapy is an integral part of my karate training.
