What is your primary product or service?
We provide outsourced and drop-off computer support and repairs for PCs, Macs, servers, networks, home networks, and offices.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As the owner of New York Computer Help, I first started training folks in my apartment building with their computers. The super of the building knew how much I enjoyed it so he passed along the new tenants to me to set them up with their new computers and internet setups. I genuinely enjoyed helping others so this was a great way to do this. Word caught on and know I have a team behind me also who, too, enjoy helping others and love working with computers at the same time.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our genuine interest to help others and be very open with our work, computer tips, and our enthusiasm to spread new computer techniques to others.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 2 locations:
East Side:
53 East 34th Street, Fl 3
New York, NY 10016
West Side:
45 West 57th Street, Fl 6
New York, NY 10019
We opened the West Side location a year and a half ago because customers literally called and asked about opening a location in the West Side 50's area. So, as we always have, we wanted to make the customers happy. We'll open up a 3rd location if enough customers ask for one.
