How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a Postal Service Inspector, I was assigned to The NY Division's Violence Interdiction Team for 8 years. Initially unhappy, the redeeming value of the work increased my interest to help Postal Managers, Employees and Postal Unions address incidents of violence using multiple tactics & strategies. In retirement, I put my interest to work in the corporate sector helping develop workplace violence prevention policy, plans, procedures & training as well as assessing & evaluating workplace security posture. I have loved my work over ever since.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Actually investigated hundreds of workplace violence complaints & incidents; actually participated in numerous threat assessments; recommended risk abatement measures; coordinated efforts with senior postal management; prosecuted individuals in state & federal courts; testified in unemployment; arbitration & merit system protection board hearings & federal civil liability court cases; singularly trained 10K postal employees; conducted a comprehensive vulnerability assessment of 125 postal stations & plants on LI, NY & developed hostile intruder/active shooter violence response procedures.

Currently operate from a virtual Home Office in Concord, NC. Any expansion is predicated on complexity of work requiring ongoing projects.
