The mission of the Alliance for Lupus Research (ALR) is to prevent, treat, and ultimately cure lupus through medical research. The ALR is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was founded in 1999 and has grown to become the largest private source of funds for lupus research in the world. Because the ALR’s Board of Directors pays for all administrative and fundraising expenses, 100% of all donations to the ALR goes to support lupus research programs.
